Holdin' Out!

Okay girls, I know I've been out for so long now! I've been working at a new job and staying busy and with Kids football and cheer practice I come home get them to bed and move into vegitative mode. I've had nothing left. Well this weekend I've had some time off, my DH is back from his business trip and I've been able to get some R&R. So here are a few more projects that I've been doing, not all stamping but still so much fun.

Lil' Monster

Isn't this little guy darling!!! I just got my Giga Scallop punch in the mail yesterday so my friend and I sat and did like 40 billion punches out of a ton of scrap paper that I had. As many of you know I've been dieing to get hold of this punch and when I saw that they were in Stock over at Stampin' Freak- aka Gina K Designs I went ahead and ordered myself one.
On another note I want to give a big {{{{HUG}}}} to "corinnesomerville" for all of her patience and encouragement!! Thanks Girl!! So Un-Inspired!

Sorry no posts lately! Why you ask? I'm not getting any desire to stamp! :( Boo Hoo, I tried today I really did, but I got nothin'.
I figure between Work, Kids School, Cheer leading Practice and Football practice and various other commitments, I'm bushed by the end of the day. When I do get some time off, I find myself either resting or re-reading my Harry Potter book. I know, I know!! Where are my priorities! Well, I promise something soon. Thanks for being patient!!!

Quick Post!

Sorry I've been MIA, with school started and extra activities that the kids are in, I have no time to blog. But I wanted to post this and hope that my dear friend that will be receiving it in the mail soon is as excited to get it as I was to give it. Have a great weekend!!

My wish for Mom...

I made this fun card for my moms birthday this last week. Its been a rough few months for all of us and I think I might know what she wished for this year..

About a year or more ago a young man ran a stop sign and broad sided my mom and grandfather. Luckily my 84 yr. old grandfather while hooked to his oxygen tank saw this coming and was able to slide as much over as possible to avoid further injury. He was not injured but my mother who has suffered from Lupus I think almost all of my life was injured internally though no one knew at the time how severe it was. She was checked out by the local hospital and they dismissed her claims of problems. This accident caused Severe Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome that caused her to start having horrible panic and anxiety attacks something she has never before experienced.
Moving to the past few months, her neurologist has been testing her brain to find out why the medication she has been taking hasn't been helping. While in the early stages of this test, she experienced her first seizure. They found Severe Brain damage due to the accident caused sometime earlier. These seizures have been continuing for the past month and she has had as many as 17 in one day sometimes lasting as long as 45 minutes. Needless to say she is in need of full time care and cannot function on her own anymore. Her specialist has scheduled her to be seen at the University of Utah but they can't see her until Oct. Meanwhile she is suffering both physically and mentally. I myself living clear across the states in Georgia feel helpless, frustrated, angry and broken hearted and wish so much that I was closer to help with her care.
So with this Birthday wish comes BIG wishes with our prayers and many others that they can get this under control so she can go back to living a normal life.
