So over the weekend, my parents were traveling to visit my brother and his wife for their daughters Birthday. When all of a sudden they heard this weird loud clunk in the engine. After pulling over and examining it, my dad decided to give it another crank on the old key to start it back up. This is when it burst into flames! He and my mom and their 2 little dogs were able to get out and get the 4-wheeler and a suitcase out of the bed of the truck. However they were so unable to get any of their other items out from the back cab of the truck. It was a complete, loss. It took the Fire department 15 minutes to arrive and to no avail it all burnt. So after looking back and assessing the whole situation, and knowing that my parents are SAFE and unhurt, I made this little card to try and raise their spirits. I hope they get a laugh from it. I've decided it's not one of the cutest cards I've ever made but it was fun embossing the flames and smoke onto the little truck. I used "loads of love & Happy Camper" Stamp sets.

Stuff is stuff-it can be replaced. People can't. In the grand scheme of things-its better to laugh and relieve the tensions and be happy no one was hurt. I love this idea and when my son's car dies (and it will sooner than later with his track record) I will use the same idea for him. Thanks for the funny.

Oh no! What an awful experience but what a funny card! Very creative! Hopefully they get a good laugh out of it!
